Description

Accommodation

This comfortable rustic finca is located about 1 kilometer from the idyllic Cala Santanyí, a beach of fine white sand. It is a perfect place to enjoy your vacations and forget the stress of everyday life.

It is an idyllic place for cyclists who want to enjoy Mallorca, located in one of the areas with the highest bicycle traffic and with several of the best routes of the island. It also has a space for bicycles with all the comforts for the cyclist, from hangers with safety cable to professional tools or pump to inflate the tires in case of any unforeseen event that could happen.
If you want to enjoy a vacation by the sea and many kilometers of cycling, you will love Finca Bassa Seca.

The house is located on a large plot of land, completely enclosed with the typical dry stone walls. On the first floor there is a spacious living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a double bedroom with bathroom. The living room has access to the large covered terrace overlooking the pool and the garden with palm trees and some olive trees. A little away from the terrace is the barbecue. The pool area is very generous with plenty of space for sunbathing, an outdoor shower and an awning for relaxing in the shade.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a bathroom and the master bedroom with en suite bathroom with whirlpool-bathtub and shower. Up to two cribs for children up to two years are available free of charge. On request. From the terraces you can enjoy views over the pine forests and beautiful villas down to the sea. In the semi-basement there is another double bedroom with large window and own bathroom.
In front of the house there is plenty of parking space for several cars.

Workation

The villa also has a stable and fast fiber optic internet connection*.

A total of up to 4 workspaces are available in this property:

  • Workspace with beautiful antique dresser table in the 4th (master) bedroom upstairs with beautiful views of the greenery and balcony access (see gallery).
Can be equipped with an ergonomic office chair (€25) and monitor (see selection below) for an additional charge. 
  • Optional workspace in a quiet location with a beautiful view and balcony access in the 5th bedroom (see gallery)
  • Optional workspace in a quiet location in the 1st bedroom with a beautiful view
  • Optional workspace in a quiet location in the 2nd bedroom in the basement with plenty of space

    • The rooms in the workspace are also equipped with air conditioning units & radiators, so that the optimal room climate prevails in every season. 

    The following equipment is optionally available for an additional charge and can be selected at the time of booking. Please let us know briefly in which of the available rooms which equipment is to be set up for you. If the desired equipment is not (completely) available at the time of your trip, we will let you know before confirming your booking.

    Surroundings

    Less than one kilometer away is the village Santanyí, a typical Mallorcan village. There you will find everything for your daily needs. There are two large supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, bars with live music, exhibitions and much more. The popular weekly market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In addition, Santanyí is the ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area or for visits to the beach. Particularly noteworthy are the beaches of S'Amarador, Cala Mondragó, Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards, as well as the beautiful long sandy beach Es Trenc, located between Colonia Sant Jordi and Sa Ràpita. Also worth a visit are the two charming coastal villages of Cala Figuera and Porto Petro. Excursions include the caves "Cuevas Drach" in Porto Cristo or a visit to the salt mines between Campos and Colònia de Sant Jordi, as well as the convent of Santuari de Sant Salvador in Felanitx, located on a 509 m high mountain with a fantastic panoramic view over the island.
